Validation request and clear to book

When to request validation, what the coach looks at, and what “Cleared to book the exam” means (and what it does not).

The four states of your preparation

The dashboard always shows where you stand:

  • Not started yet: no self-assessment saved;
  • In preparation: you have started assessing yourself and working;
  • Under review: you requested validation and Matthieu is looking at your file;
  • Cleared to book the exam: Matthieu has given his green light.

The first two states follow your activity. The last two are never worked out automatically: they come from a request on your side, then a decision by the coach.

Requesting validation

The Request validation button appears on the dashboard when your preparation is In preparation. It only becomes active once all required assignments are approved by the coach. The “Assignments” card on the dashboard shows where you are (for example “9 / 12 required assignments approved”).

If the request is not possible (a validation is already under way, or a required assignment is still to be approved), a message explains why: refresh the page to see where things stand.

Once sent, the state becomes Under review. Only one request can be open at a time.

What the coach looks at

Matthieu reviews your file domain by domain and rates each one green, amber or red, with a comment. He relies on what the platform shows of your work: self-assessments, lessons, practice and mastery, submissions and reviews, mock exams. He may suggest a call or priorities before deciding.

The green light: “Cleared to book the exam”

Only the coach can move your preparation to Cleared to book the exam. It is his opinion as a coach: he considers your preparation solid enough for you to book your date.

This green light is an honest snapshot, not a guarantee of passing. It does not replace the exam’s entry requirements or the decision of the body that runs it: booking and sitting the exam happen outside the platform.

Once cleared, keep up your practice and revision until exam day: the mock exam and spaced review remain available.
