Mock exam and estimated chance of passing

The mock exam rules (160 questions, 3 h 55 min, server-side clock, resume), what happens when time runs out, the report and the estimated range.

The format

The mock exam reproduces the exam conditions: the same share of questions per domain, the same length, no pause.

  • 160 multiple-choice questions, drawn at random from the bank on the server and split by each domain’s weight. You do not choose your questions; the platform favours the ones you have never seen.
  • 3 h 55 min in total (235 minutes), about 88 seconds per question.
  • The questions are original, written for this prep, in the language of your preparation. This is not the official exam.

If the bank is not yet large enough for a full exam in your language, the page says so and the start waits.

The clock

  • The clock starts when you begin, after a confirmation, and never stops: it runs on the server, even if you close the page or lose your connection. Plan a quiet slot with no interruptions.
  • You can pick up where you left off, on the same device or another, as long as time has not run out. Only one mock exam can be open at a time.
  • If the connection drops, your answers are kept on the device and sent when the network is back.

During the exam

  • You can flag a question to come back to it, and clear an answer.
  • Before you submit, a review screen lists the flagged and unanswered questions. Until you submit, everything can be changed.
  • An unanswered question counts as wrong.
  • The questions of your open exam are kept out of practice until it closes.

When time runs out

When time is up, the exam closes on its own, with the state Time ran out. The answers saved before the end count; nothing more can be written afterwards. After you submit or time runs out, you can no longer change your answers.

The report

Once the exam is closed, the report gives:

  • your score, the number of answers given, the time used and your average pace per question;
  • a table per domain: questions, answers, correct answers, score and average time;
  • your weakest domain on this exam, as a pointer for where to work, not as a verdict;
  • the correction of each question: your answer, the correct answer and the explanation, with filters (wrong, unanswered, flagged).

Estimated chance of passing

After a mock exam in which you answered at least half the questions, the page shows an estimated chance of passing as a range, never a single number.

  • It draws on your latest closed mock exams, with the most recent counting more; an exam with too few answers is left out.
  • The official pass mark is not published: the platform works with an assumed pass mark, presented as a working assumption, not as official data. No published pass rate goes into the calculation.
  • It is an estimate, not a promise: on exam day, fitness, stress and different questions can change everything. Use it to decide where to work.

The mock exam is a practice exam from an independent preparation: its score does not predict the official result with certainty.
