Hours log and CEU tracker

Logging your coaching hours with a witness, following the rolling window, exporting to CSV, then tracking your CEUs and CPR/AED after certification.

The hours log

The exam application asks for a number of coaching hours over a given period, which a witness can confirm, and the application can be audited. The log helps you keep them up to date as you go, rather than piecing them together at the last minute.

For each session, you enter:

  • the date and the length in minutes;
  • the type: group class, personal training, small group, remote, or other;
  • the location or gym;
  • the witness name and contact (e-mail or phone): someone who can confirm the session, such as a gym manager, a colleague or a client. Let them know you are noting their details;
  • a note, if you wish.

The page works out your total over the required rolling window, what remains, your recent pace and, at that pace, an estimated date when the threshold would be reached. This projection is indicative: it assumes the same pace and removes hours that fall out of the window.

  • To correct a session, delete it, then enter it again.
  • Export as CSV downloads all your sessions, witnesses included, for your application.

The page also lists the exam eligibility requirements. They can change: always check the current requirements in the official candidate handbook.

The CEU tracker, after certification

Once certified, you need to renew your certification at regular intervals. The CEU tracker starts from your certification date, the day you pass the exam, and follows the current cycle; only CEUs earned during the cycle count:

  • the CEUs entered, by category: courses and trainings, academic education, events and conferences, individual professional development (IPD, capped), other;
  • the coaching hours of the cycle, taken from the log;
  • the expiry of your CPR/AED, with a reminder before it is due;
  • your Learning Needs Assessment for the cycle.

Each CEU entry has a date, a category, a title, the provider if you wish, and a number of credits. These categories sort your entries within the platform; the official categories and caps are the ones that count: check them in the official candidate handbook.
